What is it? A linocut plot is a plot that is created in the style of a carved stamp and thus has its unique look. Individual fragments around the motif further emphasize this style.
With “Mixtape Love” you have chosen a “collage plot”. What? It is not that complicated and certainly not entirely new. It is not just about the actual motif, but about putting several elements together.
With this admittedly complex plotter file, plotting is really celebrated and is definitely not just a small "intermediate step" when sewing. Collage plots also offer a lot of scope to really let your creativity run wild when plotting thanks to the many elements.
It's up to you whether you want to use all the elements or reduce them. You also always have a certain amount of flexibility when it comes to the arrangement.
You will receive a grouped, multi-colored Linocut Collage plotter file consisting of 12 different elements.
What do you have to pay attention to?
This plotter file was created for adults. Please do not plot the main motif smaller than 16 cm!
If you get smaller, removing the extra pieces can become a meditation exercise and small pieces get lost. In my ebook you will find further tips on removing the pieces from the motifs.
file formats
You will receive my plotter file in the common SVG and DXF formats. Which one you can open depends on your plotter software version. During the test rounds, it also emerged that Canvas Workspace Online can have problems opening the SVG or DXF versions. You will receive a separate file from me for the online Canvas Workspace.
If you still have problems, use the desktop version of your program to plot as usual.
