Do you have to remove the weed from iron-on transfers?
No. All colors are applied to the transfer including adhesive. You just have to apply the transfer.
Can I apply an iron-on transfer with an iron?
Yes. However, you should not iron it, but press the motif on piece by piece. The optimal temperature is 150-160 degrees Celsius. Apply as much pressure as possible and DO NOT use steam.
Are iron-on transfers suitable for beginners?
Yes! Anyone can apply iron-on transfers. All you need is an iron and 5 minutes of time.
Which fabrics are iron-on transfers suitable for?
You can apply iron-on transfers almost anywhere. Suitable materials are:
Cotton, cotton blends, polyester fabrics, wool-silk jersey and many more. Use baking paper as protection when applying, especially if you are unsure!
I would advise against using wool felt or wool fleece, as there are too many air pockets in the fabric and the iron-on image does not get enough hold.
Can I use iron-on transfers commercially?
If you would like to use my iron-on transfers commercially, please contact me with your request!
I have pre-ordered iron-on transfers - when will they arrive?
Congratulations! In about 2 weeks you will be the owner of a unique design that is only available in small editions.
Can I wash iron-on transfers normally?
Yes. Iron-on transfers are extremely durable and can even be washed at up to 60°C. They can even survive the dryer on the lowest setting.
Nevertheless, if you want to enjoy your iron-on image for longer, wash it at 40°C and do not use the dryer.
