What do I need?

Applying iron-on transfers is child's play! All you need is an iron (ideally a transfer press) and about 5 minutes.

Set accents with iron-on transfers

With this iron-on transfer set "Boho-Set V1" you can add little eye-catchers to your sewing work, favorite shirt, pillows and bags or many other textiles. It is extremely easy to use and your DIY project is guaranteed to take no longer than 10 minutes! The iron-on transfers are prints that you can use on any type of textile, such as mixed fabrics, sportswear, functional clothing, jersey, French terry, sweat and many more. The print means there is no time-consuming weeding like with flex film. The iron-on image can be applied to dark as well as light textiles as each motif is printed with a white blockout color as a base. Once applied, your textile is washable at up to 60 degrees, tear-resistant and stretchable.

Application

Pre-press your textile to be printed
Position the print
Press directly on the film without a protective intermediate layer for between 15-20 seconds at 160 degrees and high pressure (iron on highest setting and without steam). The film may curl, but this is normal.
Let the print cool completely
Peel off the transfer film
Cover your work again and press for 5-8 seconds
Slip in and enjoy!

Please wait 24 hours before washing your work so that the motif is properly fixed. * If you have problems applying the adhesive, reduce the temperature. Also note that with synthetic fabrics you need to work at a lower temperature to avoid damaging your fabric.

Suitable textiles:

Iron-on transfers can be pressed onto both light and dark fabrics.

Suitable types of fabric include: jersey, French terry, sweat, functional fabrics, canvas, wool-silk, cotton and cotton blends and many more.

If you want to iron on delicate fabrics, adjust the temperature downwards and also cover your fabric with baking paper. The pressing process may need to be repeated.

Care of printed textiles

Please wait 24 hours before washing your work so that the motif is properly fixed.

After application, your textile is washable at up to 60 degrees , tear-resistant and stretchable.

Iron-on transfers can also be tumble dried on the lowest setting. However, if you want to enjoy your image for longer, you should at least not do this regularly.

It's so easy to apply iron-on transfers:

Step 1:

Pre-wash your textile without fabric softener. Then iron your textile without steam to remove any residual moisture.
Step 2:

Heat your iron to 130°C - 160°C. Place the iron-on image with the transfer foil facing upwards on your textile and press the motif on piece by piece with a little pressure (approx. 10-20 seconds each).

Let your iron-on image cool down a little (the transfer is warm) and remove the backing.

Then cover your picture again with baking paper and press the motif one last time.

Tip: You can cover the iron-on image with baking paper before pressing it on to protect your fabric and the image.
Step 3:

Only wash your textile after it has rested for 24 hours. After the resting time, your new work can be washed inside out at up to 60°C and can be tumble dried (gentle cycle).
